Back to previous page in the 50's, a whole family of new
varieties were developed in Eastern vineyards by crossing American vines with
European. The resulting grapes make delicious country-style wines that speak
of the history of the region, and are a unique alternative to the more well known
varieties like Merlot, Cabernet and Pinot Noir.
Finger Lakes- Keuka Lake
This dry Baco is very approachable when young but also benefits from aging. On
the palate it has both weight and vibrancy with an intense array of flavors ranging
from earthy and herbaceous to bright and fruity overtones of soft, smoky oak.
Lake Erie Region
A velvety dark color together with attractively fruity bouquet and a classic
flavor hinting of elderberries. The wine has moderate tannin and good acidity
making it readily drinkable now and with also indicates a good future in the
bottle.
Finger Lakes - Cayuga Lake
An excellent value in a dry red dinner wine. Nice juicy bramble-berry fruit is
flavorful on the palate and merges well with toasty oak flavors from barrel aging.
Viognier (vee-oh-nyay) - This low-yielding, tiny clustered
vinifera grape is native to the French Rhone and it makes the best and most expensive
white wine there is. It is also one of the hottest white wines in California
today. This grape is rare but gaining popularity in New York where the flavors
are quite true to the French originals. These are all terrific Summer Whites.
Long Island
Exotic fruit note, clean, crisp, and citrusy.
Long Island
Very dry and austere, crisp and clean with vibrant citrus flavors and a clean
finish.
Finger Lakes
An explosion of exotic tropical fruit aromas and flavors, in a soft, light wine.
Gold Medal Winner!

in an off-dry style and come in a cool blue bottle. Hey, sometimes packaging
