"What
though youth gave love and roses, Age still leaves us friends
and wine."

The current state-of-the-art in pink wines is
a return to the more traditional, drier styles of rosés made famous
in Provence. Crafted from classic vinifera grapes like cabernet
sauvignon, merlot , cabernet franc - even pinot noir - the dry rosés
from New York are at once delicious and refreshing, and excellent
food wines.
Nothing is as delicate and refreshing as a well-made
rosé on a summer afternoon, and these three wines are no exception.
With their crisp acidity, hint of tannic backbone and gushingly
fresh fruit, they will likely become your summer wines.
Merlot / Cabernet Franc blend. Rich and mouthfilling,
this is a full bodied rose with bold flavors of peaches and strawberry.
A perrenial favorite. Fresh cut flowers, roses and violets, with a sweet strawberry middle palate. Made from 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Cabernet Franc and 8% Merlot.
Pinot Noir grapes produce this blushing pink wine with a ripe strawberry and cranberry nose. Ample bodied with appealing fruit flavors.
Originally from the Rhone Valley in France
(or, as more recently believed originating in ancient Persia, hence
the Aussie name of Shiraz), in youth Syrah is spicy, fruity, sometimes
smoky and meaty, and shows plenty of tannin. Slow to age, at maturity
the wine can display incredible layers of flavor and complexity,
a smooth, silky texture and wonderfully spicy aromas that sometimes
include violets and rose petals. The flavors revolve around blackberries
and black plums, freshly cracked black pepper and an almost indescribable
"animal" element that can resemble saddle leather and raw red meat.
A grape that needs a warmer climate and long growing season, Syrah
is finding a great new home in the vineyards of Long Island.
Taught tannins and a pleasantly spicy taste makes this first offering from Schneider a winner.
Lush, earthy aromas of ripe blueberries and forest mushrooms balanced by toasted oak. DECANT IT!
A solidly delicious wine from Long Island’s largest winery. These young vines may pave the way for a new style of North Fork wines. Delicious.
At the tail end of our popular May Fruit Wine Faire each year is the release of the current year's bottlings of fresh, vibrant, fruity, delicious, "it-takes-10-pounds-of-fresh-strawberries-to-make-a-bottle" Strawberry wines. Bursting with flavor, these are some of the most vibrant fruit wines available.
